New Caney, TX (RV) – Feb. 8-14, 2026

This past week, work was completed on Miss Sonia’s home in Cleveland, Texas for Hope Disaster Long Term Recovery.  The kitchen cabinets were installed, new curtains and valence hung, kitchen sink and taps hooked up, a new counter installed stained and sealed, and the kitchen ceiling was touched up and painted. Sonya will move her dishes back into her kitchen over the weekend, and a home dedication is planned for Monday, February 16, 2026.  

Plumbing (including water and sewer lines) was completed on the fifth and final new build: the Garcia home in Porter. The remainder of the team continued to install drywall at the Hayes’ home in Magnolia.  

With two of these shorter projects now completed, the RV team will focus on completing two new builds starting next week. They will start with completing the drywall installation at the Hayes’ home, followed by the finishing work of mudding, taping, and sanding.
