McAllen, TX – RV – Jan. 22-28, 2023

Most of our group has continued work on the #14-Jam Square house – we are seeing the completion of the project coming into view.  Installation of the flooring is completed; painting is done except for touching up; the porch railings are complete; plumbing and electrical circuits are checked – installing trim and hanging interior doors was the major item this week.  On Thursday, the home owner and her mother brought delicious tamales for our lunch.  What a joy to see this home near completion – a house blessing is planned for February 2!

On Tuesday several of the volunteers transferred their efforts to the #15-Citation Dr. house where they have completed 40% of the taping and mudding.

On Saturday evening, our group met at the office trailer for a meal together.  We enjoyed great food and, even greater, fellowship around the tables.
