Following a very wet, inside-the-RV, weekend, everyone was excited to get the week started!

At the Grape Street home, work continued as volunteers installed the kitchen cabinets, painted trim, hung doors, installed smoke detectors, and did electrical work.  We are seeing this home come to completion and anticipate a house blessing next week.

At Myrtle Street, volunteers painted interior walls and ceilings.  On Wednesday, they did touch up painting and picked up their tools to move on to another location!

At the Tangerine home, flooring and the base kitchen cabinets were installed; bedroom doors were hung; and trim painted.  On Lee Street the trusses were set and the electric meter was installed.  The electrical/plumbing rough in was done and prep started for wall insulation.

Four of our team traveled to Fresno, CA to attend the MDS Annual Celebration, returning on Sunday.  The group who remained in Hardee County enjoyed a shrimp dinner on Saturday.  On Friday, Karen rejoined our team after spending some time recuperating at home from surgery.  It is good to have the entire group together again.
