Crisfield, MD – October 1-7, 2023

Greetings from Crisfield, MD,

The Crisfield site has reopened with the volunteers serving for the next four weeks.  Keith and Janet Graybill from Pa arrived to serve as Project Director and Office Manager.  Don O’Neil from Alberta, Canada arrived to serve as construction supervisor.

  An energetic team of five men came from Lowville, New York for the week.  They worked at interior painting in two houses along with flooring, foundation work and kitchen cabinet installs.

   Much of the week has been spent prepping (ordering and picking up supplies) for the arrival of 28 volunteers from PA this weekend. Their goal is to frame, roof ,and side a house in the next week.

  Highlights of the week have included enjoying the beautiful sunsets each evening and eating shrimp on Friday night from the American Legion.
