Crisfield, MD – Oct. 22-28, 2023

We greeted several volunteers from the Shenandoah Valley this week in Crisfield.  LT volunteer crew leader Dave King and cooks Dave & Brenda Nice arrived from Va.  Our group of thirteen volunteers including the team leader Wilda and her husband Sheldon arrived from the Shenandoah Valley.  Gordon Baergen, crew leader came from Alberta, Canada.

  We witnessed a hardworking and energetic group filled with lots of laughter.  We continue to complete wrap up on Beachy and Welch homes, hanging doors cleaning and touch up painting.  On the new Bradly build, external walls, interior walls, and trusses were placed.

  A fun evening was spent at the dock learning to crab with several successful catches.   We spent several evenings blending voices together in praise to our Creator.

We were joined by Don and Rachel Horst on Wednesday as incoming project director and office manager. What a rewarding time it has been to serve in Crisfield as Don O’Neill and we depart.
