This week a group of 11 young men from Pennsylvania joined us in Jennings. They were hard workers, and we accomplished a lot this week. They also took some time to have fun.

We had rain in the forecast two days, but it only kept us from working outside one afternoon.

The Nixon family joined us for supper on Wednesday evening. This week we finished the insulation and hung drywall at their house, so it’s really beginning to look like a house!

The roof was shingled at the Stelly house.

At the Miller home, we made great progress in getting the piers poured and setting the girders and floor joists so it’s ready for sheeting and framing.

Trusses were put up at the Scott home. Roof and siding sheeting were done.

We received permits for the additional two houses this week, so now are able to proceed with the six houses we hope to complete by the end of March. Digging for footers and demolition still need to be done at two locations.
