Eastern KY – March 17-23, 2024

Following the cancellation of our group, we only had 2 weekly volunteers join us this week. They, along with 5 long term volunteers, were a mostly experienced team with a young adult eager to learn new skills.

We finished touch ups and cleaning at Janet’s and the rest of the week was spent drywalling, mudding, sanding at Falline’s home.

On Tuesday evening George joined us for dinner and shared his story and flood experiences.

On Wednesday, Tommy cooked and delivered a wonderful meal of breaded chicken, ham, sweet potato, cheesy pasta and cherry crumble… but unfortunately could not stay to share.
