We had a hard-working group of 16 volunteers. The week started with everyone working to finish one project and by Tuesday the group was split between two different job sites. At the first job site they finished installing roof panels, cut soffit, finished the ridge cap on the roof, and cleaned up the job site. There is some trim work that needs to be done, but they are waiting on supplies to arrive to finish that project completely.

At the new site, it was determined by TPMG that the home was not stable enough to support a new roof. They determined that the existing house would have to be torn down and a new one put up to replace it. With the permission of the homeowners, volunteers helped them empty out the house so it could be torn down. Once all personal items were removed, they began taking down the house.

The site was cleaned up and materials for the new house were delivered. A truss template was built, and the building of trusses began. All trusses were completed and ready to install, once the walls are up. Forms were built for a wall curb and 80% of that task is completed. We also framed and set three walls.
