Perry, FL – RV – Jan. 26 – Feb. 1, 2025

We said good-bye to Bruce, Nancy, and Dean after they have been great assets to our group for three weeks. We also said hello to Margaret and Clark, Mark and Martha, and Don and Anj. We welcomed them to our group of hard working folks. Margaret is our new office manager for the month of February and March. Before the three left, we had a nice meal at Casa Grande and sent them off with the wave of white hankies the following days after our meal.

Theresa, one of our clients, had a birthday so we all gathered at her home for birthday cake. She made breakfast sandwiches that we could share and enjoy with our cake! Work continued on her house with new flooring installed.

Joe’s house is looking great, with plumbing installed and new shower in the bathroom. Cabinets for the kitchen have been ordered.

Peggy’s home is mostly finished on the inside, but we are working on getting the plumbing resolved with a macerator pump. She has had no good indoor plumbing since hurricane Idalia. What a blessing that will be for her!

We have quite a number of volunteers who enjoy pickle ball, so if they aren’t too tired after work, or on weekends, we have friendly competitions. There is a nice little area with cement that Mike has measured and taped and chalked off to make it as legal as possible.
