Perry, FL – RV – Mar. 16-22, 2025

Captain Don’s house in Steinhatchee is almost completed. Cabinets have been installed and painting almost done. Cleaning and a few details remain for early next week. A House Blessing is planned for Wed.

Leslie Carmichle’s home has most of the drywall up and some rooms have been painted. Her house will continue to be worked on next week but will not be finished by Taylor County Strong’s request to start another home and because they have another volunteer group that can finish Leslie’s home. Leslie is very excited about the improvements to her home and has joined us in working on the project.

A new project was started at Irene Barne’s on Friday. Painting, insulating, drywall repair and door needs to be done. Hoping to get it completed before leaving next week.

Mark and Martha Miller joined the crew on Mon and Tues before heading home on Wed.

Sunday, we attended church at Calvary Baptist where we are being hosted. They presented Steve with a beautiful, framed certificate of appreciation. Then, we had our second Team Building activity going to Walkulla Springs State Park and had a boat tour for alligator, bird and manatee sightings. Following the outing we went to dinner together at Mama’s Italian Restaurant in Perry.
