The work continues on Joe’s house, as we finished painting and texturing the ceilings, replacing the crown molding and baseboards, and laying flooring in the dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and spare room. Joe is so very happy with our work so far, and said, “I love it!” He is a wonderful Christian man with a great testimony.
Smaller projects were completed at three other homes, such as installing a door, painting a bathroom ceiling, and installing windows and air conditioners.
Our group enjoyed some yummy pizza instead of a Thursday night potluck, so no one had to cook! We went to the Fiddler Crab Festival in Steinhatchee on the 15th. We watched a parade and visited vendors, and some even ate alligator on a stick. The highlight was a boat tour on the Steinhatchee River, observing much damage to homes and docks along the river.
