Our Project Director and Office Manager from Kansas were the only volunteers at Paradise this week but that didn’t keep us from getting lots accomplished.

A load of shingles was picked up from the Hope Center in Oroville for the Rubiolo and Harrell houses.  Friday, we finished putting up the facia board at Cheryle’s.

Highlight of the week was the Lord’s leading again in our being able to make some amazing connections with needed contractors.   We were led Sunday to attend the Jubilee church just up the road on Clark.  They recommended two contractors they used to repair their church that was damaged in the fire.  Having these contractors on board will keep our projects moving forward, indeed an answer to prayer.

Next week Roofers will install shingles on both the Rubiolo and Harrell houses; delivery of gravel to Teri Wynne’s is scheduled for Monday; HVAC contractor will start midweek and possibly the electrician will begin next week as well.  Midweek we will welcome the new team of long termers to Paradise.

The words from a children’s song, “My God is so big, so strong and so mighty, there’s nothing my God cannot do”, have definitely been experienced by us this month.  We give God the glory for miracle after miracle that we have experienced during our time here.
