Newton, TX (RV) – Mar. 8 – 14, 2026

Much work was accomplished by our new team this week at Karen’s house.  We are quickly approaching the house blessing so Pete, our project director, was able to sign on 2 more houses.

Bill, Lorna, Milton, Merv and Loretta E, all started their week painting throughout Karen’s house.  Loretta E painted baseboards, and ceiling, door and window trim. Lorna also painted trim and living room walls.    Bill painted bathrooms #1 and #2 as well as doors and trim.  He also installed ceiling tiles. Merv installed a new bedroom door, painted walls and trim and installed flooring with Milton.  Milton also painted living room walls and trim. Pete installed flooring in bathroom #2.

Our new team got to know each other better by having a game night on both Friday and Saturday.  On Sunday, we attended the United Methodist Church of the Pines in Jasper.  After church we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Elijah’s Café also in Jasper.
