Betty Romanes, a student from CMU, joined us this week. So now we are 6 from Manitoba and one from B.C.

Gordon finished cleaning, organizing and marking in the tool trailer.  He also put new flooring in another shower room in the shower trailer.

At Tammy’s the facia, soffiting, window flashing and Tyvek strapping were not quite completed.  Hope to install the new door and finish the soffit and facia next week.

A new repair job was started at Ted’s on Wednesday.  Finishing the small bedroom addition, to a tiny house, that was started before MDS arrived, was our focus this week.  So, the already framed walls were secured, and the height of one wall was extended (a pony wall) to support the trusses to follow the same roof line of the existing tiny house.  After the trusses were placed and secured, some plywood was nailed on the pony wall. The gable walls were finished and the strapping is on the trusses, ready for the metal roofing next week.

Friday cleanup and truck maintenance went smoothly with willing hands.

Prayers for new permits were answered on Friday when we received word that three new permits have been approved.  Hurrah!!   Immediately contact was made with an excavator to start digging for foundations at Michelle’s next week.
