We had a very foggy week on Grand Isle!  For three days the fog never lifted all day.  It looked like we were living in a blizzard, but a warm blizzard. ?  Work continued on Miss Hayle’s home in spite of the drizzly fog.  Siding is progressing on the house.  Mudding was started in the bathroom.  We are waiting for the shower base to finish up the bathroom project.

We said goodbye to Bruce and Nancy Shields and Clark and Margaret Upton at the end of the week.  We had such a great time with these two couples it was hard to see them leave.  On the weekend we welcomed Ed and Sherry Epp from Independence, KS and Ned and Mary Gisel from Archbold, OH to our team for the month of February.

On Tuesday evening our group was invited to a dinner put on by the Bayou Community foundation in appreciation to all the volunteers that are in this community working to restore homes.  There is a group of RV Nomads that we are getting to know at church and social events.  Father Mark has coffee for us every Sunday morning at his home before church which is a great social time.  We feel priviledged to be in such a friendly and appreciative community.
