An energetic group of high school students from Hagerstown Academy in Hagerstown MD volunteered this week. It was a week for wrapping up MDS projects.

Work was done in five different homes. The Spicer home was blessed on Thursday with a few punch list items still to be completed. Foundation work continued at the Noble and Back house with cement and ground leveling. At the Herald home flooring, trim, vanities and locksets were installed. The Neace home had drywall and a deck installed. The Denise Joseph house had the final coat of paint.

On Thursday a group of students helped organize and clean up the camp in preparation for closing on Friday.

Four projects remain for completion including two foundations. Groups will be scheduled by MDS in the weeks to come. Accommodations and logistics are still being worked out.

Long Term staff left on Friday including Rollie Ulrich, project director; Ryan Sprunger, construction manager; Don and Em Yoder, office manager and cook; Richard and Carol Bergman, crew leader and assistant cook; Rob Beiswenger, crew leader; Richard and Nancy Gerber, crew leader and long term volunteer; Dave and Gloria Miller, crew leader and assistant cook.
