A group of twelve volunteers came from eastern Ohio this week. Spike Weaver organized the group. Spike is also known for designing and building the drawers in the MDS tool trailers.

Work was completed at the Paul Weaver home with a home dedication on Friday. Erv and Esther Willms, long term volunteers for February spent many hours in the Weaver home and were pleased to take part in the short service.

Work continued at the Spicer, Southwood and Herald homes. Volunteers did electrical work, hung drywall, laid sub-floor, painted and insulated. Work began in the Roger States home with insulation, drywall, painting and soffit work.

One of our home owner couples, the Spicers, shared their story with us after supper on Wednesday.

Five long term volunteers returned home over the weekend: Layne Newswanger to Michigan. Steve and Gina Reinford to Pennsylvania and Erv and Esther Willms to Ontario.

Rollie Ulrich and Ryan Sprunger, both from Indiana, joined our group as project director and construction supervisor mid-week. Richard and Carol Bergman from Manitoba arrived on Saturday to complete our long term team.

Next week a group of Bluffton University students and a couple from Pennsylvania will come for the week, We are also anticipating a visit from Kevin King and Darin Bontrager.
