Eastern Kentucky – Dec. 11-16, 2022

This week brought a group of 5 volunteers from Ohio & West Virginia along with 1 volunteer from Kansas and 1 from Illinois.  Our leadership team gained an assistant cook from Indiana.

This is our last week at the project.  We are shutting down operations for the Christmas break.  Starting January 2, a new leadership team will arrive.  We have 2 crews working hard to complete as many open jobs as possible.  We managed to close 3 more jobs.

Ukrainian was the primary language of one of our volunteers this week.  There were interesting conversations taking place during meals with the help of a translation app he had on his phone.  This technology helped us lower the barrier that would have hindered his participation.
