This week we were a group of 10, so it was a bit quieter than the weeks before. We still played lots of games in the evenings and had a nice supper at the beach on Thursday. Hamburger just tastes better outside!

Lots got done at the houses this week. We had two final inspections, one at the Lauze house and one at the O’Brien house. Both houses went through the inspection with only finishing touches still needed at the O’Brien house.

The Harrison house was a busy place with lots happening at the same time. Plumbing got finished, light fixtures installed and paint touch-up were needed. The Monias house is also close to finished, and we are all excited about the progress that has happened in the last couple of weeks.

Wednesday, we had to say goodbye to Harold and Bruce, but we will welcome them back soon. On Friday we said goodbye to Paul and on Saturday to Nancy and Tye, and Bea and Dale. All of them served whole heartedly during their time here, thank you very much for that!

Friday evening we welcomed Connie, our cook for the last two weeks, and her husband David who will be a big help with the finishing touches this week.

Sunday we all went to the Cornerstone Church and had a lovely dinner at the Victoria Inn afterwards. Then, we went straight to the Denare Beach museum, Northern Gateway Museum, where the newly elected mayor gave us a private tour.
