Sunday, we welcomed 15 weekly volunteers from Indiana.

Work continued on the Hayes house and at the end of the week most of the siding is on, the plumbing is almost completed thanks to the MDS RV Volunteers that are staying in New Caney TX. The electrical has been started and the roof is on.

Work continued at the Renk house as well. By the end of the week most of the siding is on, the decks are almost completed and the roof is on.

On the Molina house we assisted with the block layer and got the stem walls completed on Monday. We started framing on Tuesday and by the end of the week the house is closed in with interior walls completed and most of the deck built.

Monday, we started framing the Crumbley house. By the end of the week the house was closed in with windows and doors installed. The roof is completed and the Deck and Ramp are well on the way.

This was a great week! The weekly volunteers had a lot of framing experience and brought personal tools along from home to make this work smoother.

We had one rainy afternoon that we used to sort cabinets to make sure we had everything to complete the five houses. The cabinets had been shipped earlier this year for repair work that was completed this summer.

On behalf of the Conroe TX team, LeRoy Janzen, Project Director
