Perry, FL – Nov 24-30, 2025 (RV)

We have been enjoying beautiful sunshine & warm temperatures here in Perry, FL. It appears we have critters among us (no, the Fire Ants have all but disappeared, thank goodness!)  There are Mini-Gophers digging up our field and all around our campers. After leveling the existing mounds, we wake to find new ones formed overnight! 

We have been able to complete deck/porch work at one of our projects and are still working hard on replacing floors, ceilings, wall repairs in another home.  Plus, we’ve started work on 2 more homes, and have another 2 waiting to be started – busy, busy! With Thanksgiving during this week we took the day off, then a small group did a little work on Friday morning. 

Thanksgiving Day we joined together for a potluck Chicken Dinner where we had roasted chicken from Walmart and each of us contributed a side-dish/dessert. Ray & Mim Heisey visited with family in the area, while we welcomed a few extra friends that came to visit us here at camp.  All in all, we ended up with 11 around our table! 

This week we welcomed Mark Tillack to our group of RV volunteers.  Now we have our full crew here!
