Progress was made on the M & T Back home.  Two retired couples came Tuesday and started painting interior walls on Wednesday.  I, Joe, along with two young men from the Bruderhof community near my house, arrived Wednesday evening.  We worked Thursday – Saturday at the Back house painting walls, doors, and trim.  The vinyl siding was also completed.  On Saturday we started installing the vinyl plank flooring and window trim.  HVAC was hooked up – volunteers appreciated working in an air-conditioned house!

I purchased all the electrical supplies for both the Back house and S Noble’s house.  Nancy Earnest, an electrician from Baltimore who did the electrical rough-in on both houses, is planning to come do the finish electrical work on Monday, July 2.  Her husband will also come to assist her.

A volunteer group from Northern Ohio is here this week framing the L Noble house.  They are supervised by Samuel Short.  Some volunteers will also work on finishing the Back house flooring and trim.  Samuel and I are supervising that work.

Another Catholic volunteer group is in Jackson, working under the local Long-term Recovery Committee.  They needed extra work and intend to work on S Noble’s house, building the rear deck and painting interior walls and trim.  Phil Swartzentruber and I are supervising this work.
