Grand Isle, LA – RV – March 12-18, 2023

Work is progressing at Miss Joy’s home.  We did a lot of mudding, sanding, sanding, sanding and painting this week.  By the end of each day there was considerable moaning and groaning from stiff, achy arms and legs from we “older” people.  But, there was a sense of great accomplishment by the end of the week.

The Bridgeside Marina treated all of the volunteers with a crawfish boil on Thursday night.  That sure was a cultural experience!  Almost everyone really liked the crawfish, but I couldn’t get past those beady eyes looking at me so passed on the opportunity to eat them.
