Volunteers came from Pennsylvania, Virginia, Montana, and Oregon.

What a thrill to hear the stories and experiences of our wonderful volunteers.

Work continued on the RSAA building with the installation of flooring, as well as the removal of sinks and vanities. Old, worn pipes snapped off during the work, adding to the list of needed repairs and replacements.

Home rehabilitation also continued, with many hours spent on siding, painting windows, installing subflooring, putting up permanent walls, and removing temporary ones.

Highlights included appreciation from both homeowners and cooperating agencies.

Many of this week’s volunteers were new to MDS service. What a pleasure to hear that many plan to return to give hope—to Respond, Rebuild, and Restore once again.
