This week, we had a total of 18 volunteers, but our dinner table often held up to 22. We have local volunteers come in for the day. They are led by Wes Janzen, who has done a marvellous job of recruiting. A number of our volunteers came from the Okotoks Evangelical Free Church (A.B.). Most of the others were from B.C. and a few from O.N.

Two of the houses were framed this week. The basement was dug at the third house and ICF block basement put up by women. They are much more careful with how it’s placed.

A 40-km bike ride in the Myra Canyon Trestles, near Kelowna, was a major highlight for long-term volunteers this week. They saw many beautiful views from the trestles and the rain held off just long enough, as they reached their cars to leave the site.
