Shuswap, B.C. – July 28 – Aug 3, 2024

Last week’s “Athletes in Action” Soccer Camp at our host church was a great success. It was a quiet week at MDS camp with no weekly volunteers scheduled. We are back in business this week, with temperatures in the high 20s. 

We welcomed 19 volunteers with more than half of those being long-term. 

At Rosie’s home, we installed baseboards and trim, touched up the paint and completed a railing around the deck. 

At Jade and Isabelle’s, all painting and flooring is done. 

Wayne’s doors and all finishing work are done. Kitchen cabinets were installed, and the site was cleaned up. His home dedication is scheduled for next week.  

The insulation and vapour barrier at Ted’s is complete and the drywall is progressing well.
