Port Charlotte, FL – Feb. 23-Mar. 1, 2025

A group of 13 from Pennsylvania joined us here at the Port Charlotte base. And 4 volunteers from Canada were housed in the satellite site in Fort Myers. The satellite location enabled them to spend less time on the road and more time at the job site, where they put up drywall and mudded and sanded all week at Ms. Tracy’s house.

The volunteers at Port Charlotte spent 152 volunteer hours on Ms. Dawn’s house and a lot of progress was made there. The house is drywalled, some painting was done, the flooring was installed, and some kitchen cabinets were installed.

Other volunteers spent time at Ms. Ann’s house hanging and mudding drywall, sanding, and hanging doors.

A roofing crew tore off a roof at Faith Mission in Arcadia and due to a delay in getting the inspection, weren’t quite able to finish. So they started on the roof for Ms. Sonja.

The February long-term leaders are packing up to leave, turning the jobs over to the capable hands of the March team.
