Liberty, TX – RV – March 9-15, 2025

Another beautiful weather week here in southeast Texas as work continued on Nicole’s house.  Ray and Jonathan installed exterior door framing and Don and Rosie continued installing interior doors and drywall.    Peggy and Eleanor installed insulation and drywall and finished it off with Wilma and Rosie.  They were even able to prime some walls this week.  Ray and Jim installed the exterior doors in the living room.  Ray, Jim and Pete put down a new subfloor in the living room and then with the help of Darlene and Peggy, Ray and Pete began installing the flooring.

Jonathan and Wilma took on the bathroom.  First, they had to demo the room. Renovations then began with the help of Rosie, Don and Jim. Since the weather cooperated, we were thrilled that we were able to have a very productive week!

On Friday night we all gathered outside the Office Trailer and had a potluck dinner. However, this was not an ordinary “potluck”.  We called it a BYOM get-together standing for “Bring YourOwn Meal” potluck.  It was a bit windy, but we enjoyed fellowship despite the weather.  On Saturday we had our weekly game night as we enjoyed playing “Uno Flip” and Sunday we attended Liberty Grace Church. A few couples enjoyed going to a local rodeo on Sunday afternoon.
