Ironton, LA – Jan. 23-28, 2026

We finally have a good start on all three of our house builds in Ironton, LA.  We had a slow start at the beginning of January waiting for permits and the installation of the pylons for construction.  A group from Pennsylvania last week was very productive getting side walls up on Mr. Ross’ house.  The weather was very cold but that didn’t stop them and the more you moved the warmer you were.  The siding arrived and priming was done by the girls in the group.  The cooks delivered warm cinnamon rolls with hot coffee for their break so that helped with chilly bones.  At the end of the week we said a sad goodbye to our crew leaders Andy Martin and Layne Newswander.
