  1. How many volunteers were at the project site this week? Where did they come from?

8 volunteers:  Duncannon, PA; Flat Rock, NC; Kalona, IA; York Springs, PA

  1. Describe briefly the work done and the accomplishments for each job worked on.

The RV team has been split between 2 projects for the past 2 weeks.  The 4 women taped and mudded the large drywall job in Randolph.  While the mud was drying, they insulated the basement ceiling of the large ranch house, then returned to the garage to sand the walls in preparation for painting.

The men have been working on a flooded house in Barre, rebuilding a concrete wall, repairing exterior wood and putting up new siding.  Leonard, our very in demand plumber, has been on loan to the traditional group helping with all of their plumbing work, as well as doing the RV project.  He has a great heart for being willing to work wherever needed.

It has rained a lot here in Vermont, limiting a lot of activity outside of work, and keeping our camp very wet.  Soaked feet and wheel ruts are normal, but spirits are high.

  1. What were the highlights of the week?

Our week ended with a cookout on Sunday evening.  Our camp has a lovely fire ring and the day was perfect, no rain.

  1. What are your plans for the upcoming week?

The Randolph project will be painted and trim boards installed, completing the project.  The house in Barre will get a new concrete entry and a new storm door.  That project will be ongoing with a lot of work to be done.
