A memorable week in East Montpelier.  On Wednesday, the one year anniversary of the catastrophic flood, hurricane Beryl came thru Vermont and flooded many parts of the state again.  Bridges and roads were washed away.  Our camp, right next to the river, was on standby to evacuate all night.  Our water supply line was washed down the river.  The Lord protected us and we all rode out the storm in safety.
It was a very productive week for the team.  The women started installing drywall in Randolph.  The men worked at a project in Barre, making a concrete slab, moving an oil tank, and shoring up stone walls of house.  Wednesday night, during the early stages of the storm, the team went to dinner at the Firehouse 1 Grill and had an enjoyable group outing, though we were all soaked getting back, as the storm was in earnest by the time we left the restaurant.
