What Happened
In March 2025, a house fire caused significant damage to one family's home in Orillia, ON. The three brothers who lived there were forced to leave, leaving them with nowhere else to live except their car.
What MDS Is Doing
The Mennonite Disaster Service Ontario Unit is working to repair the home of the three brothers in Orillia, ON. Volunteers are working to completely gut and rebuild the house.

Location
Orillia is a city in Ontario, Canada, about 30 km north-east of Barrie in Simcoe County. It is located at the confluence of Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe. It is part of the Huronia region of Central Ontario. Refered to as the "sunshine city," Orillia is known for lake views, live music, art, and adventure.
