Floods

What Happened

Severe storms and flooding that began on April 26, 2024, and included heavy rainfall, flash flooding, river flooding, large hail, and hazardous wind gusts caused widespread and severe property damage, injury, or loss of life.

What MDS Is Doing

MDS work will focus on flooding related repairs such as drywall, insulation, flooring, and kitchens.  Volunteers might also be working on some homes nearby that were damaged by tornadoes during Hurricane Beryl.
