Region 4 Annual Meeting

We are so pleased to invite you to join us for the Region 4 Annual Meetings being held in Pasadena, CA October 9-10, 2026.

Theme

Side by Side: Walking with our Neighbors After Disaster

The theme was inspired by Luke 24:13-35. In this story we find two of Jesus’ disciples walking the road to Emmaus. Having just experienced their own unimaginable disaster – the death of their leader – and facing an uncertain future they encounter a risen Jesus who walks with them in their grief. (Although they do not yet recognize him.)

As we meet in Pasadena, we seek to walk the road of grief and recovery with our neighbors there who have experienced tragic wildfires. We are not yet ready to get to work, but we can come alongside and support a community working to rebuild – learning from them as we go.

*We recognize that Pasadena is a more expensive location than where we have met in the last few years. However, we see this as an opportunity to gather where a natural disaster has occurred, and where we hope to work. This allows us to understand the impacts of disaster in the local context and provides us with the chance to support the local economy as they build back after tragedy.
