West Asheville, NC – Oct. 5-4, 2025

West Asheville welcomed 2 volunteers this week.

Though a small number the crew leaders managed well in accomplishing many tasks on the job lists.

Houses in Swananoa were sided, taking many hours. A ceiling was taken down and subflooring was installed.

The RSAA building continued to have many jobs attended to, mainly painting and flooring. Toilets were installed and an ice maker was delivered. The construction dumpster was  removed and the shower trailer dumped.

One highlight of the week was the completion of a long driveway being filled and leveled, enabling an older man to drive to his home.

Next week the RSAA building work continues as well at the houses in Swananoa .

One more driveway is to be filled and leveled as well.
