We were joined by Fred Hershey, Huntsville AL, for three days and Heidi Martin, PA, for the week. Fred focused on building five bunk rooms in the Fellowship Hall. Heidi focused on the shower trailer which now is sparkling clean.

Once again, the focus was on preparing accommodation for volunteers. We expect a group of eight from Goshen IN to arrive on Sunday. United Way has graciously allowed us to live in their volunteer house located about a mile from our camp until rooms are available here. By Saturday, all the Long Term Volunteers had moved to the facilities at the church.

James and Michelle, members of the Church Street United Methodist Church, joined us for our Thursday evening meal. Their presentation on the history of the church and Selma was enlightening. The Presbyterian Church down the street has given us an invitation to eat with them on Wednesday evenings. We took them up on the offer this week and enjoyed the food and interaction.

On Saturday Alta Zimmerman from East Earl PA joined our team as Crew Leader. She will be here for a month.
