Mennonite Disaster Service Canada values of Faith in Action and Caring Relationships. That means we work to provide caring services and resources to our volunteers so they can put their faith to work on the front lines of disaster recovery.
While the accounting role is largely behind the scenes, this position also involves supporting and resourcing volunteer treasurers from 6 provinces/regions within Canada, as well as office managers who keep the financial records at our larger projects.
As a member of the staff team at MDSC, you will be comfortable – perhaps even prefer – a small office environment. Currently the staff team is comprised of 2 full time and 2 half time positions. If this position interests you, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit a cover letter and resume addressed to Ross Penner and sent to jobsca@mds.org. We plan to do a first review of applicants on Jan. 3, 2022 and will keep the posting open until it is filled. See full description and qualifications.
