2027 Annual Celebration Location Revealed

With the 2026 Annual Celebration in the rearview, Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) is already looking forward to where the Annual Celebration will be held in 2027.  

In the concluding minutes of day two of this year’s Annual Celebration, Rollin Ulrich, the Region 2 Board Chair, came on stage to reveal the location for the 2027 Annual Celebration. In contrast to the previous few Annual Celebrations taking place in colder climates, Ulrich was excited to announce that the 2027 Annual Celebration will be held somewhere that will be a bit warmer, even in February. 

Attendees of the 2026 Annual Celebration were the first to learn that the 2027 Annual Celebration, hosted by Region 2, will be held in Alabama. 

A location with a rich history and a state in which MDS has often responded over the years, Alabama will be a fitting host for the MDS family to once again join together and celebrate God’s faithfulness in the work God has called us to this year.
