What Happened
On June 7, 2026, heavy rainfall caused significant flooding through the Swan Valley region. Between June 30 and July 2, 2026, more heavy rainfall resulted in a second severe flood.
What MDS Is Doing
MDS volunteers will focus on repairing damaged homes following flooding in June 2026.
A response is planned for late September through to November 2026.
